About Fred
My interest in mathematics began when I discovered how numbers and patterns could explain many situations in everyday life. I enjoyed solving problems that required logical thinking and careful reasoning. This curiosity encouraged me to study mathematics in greater depth and eventually complete a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, where I explored topics such as algebra, calculus, and applied mathematics.
During my 9 years of teaching, I have worked with students who had many different learning needs. Some students needed support with basic calculations, while others wanted to improve their ability to solve more advanced mathematical problems. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, patient guidance, and gradual progress so students can build confidence step by step.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles and reading about how mathematics is used in science, technology, and engineering. These interests help me bring interesting examples into my lessons. Teaching mathematics is meaningful to me because I see students grow from uncertainty to confidence as they learn how to solve problems logically.

My mathematics lessons are designed to help students understand numbers, equations, and patterns in a clear and structured way. Many students feel that mathematics is difficult because they try to memorize formulas without understanding how those formulas work. In my lessons we start by building a strong foundation in basic topics such as number operations, fractions, decimals, and percentages. These early concepts help students gain confidence and improve their ability to solve simple calculations accurately.
After students become comfortable with these basics, lessons gradually introduce more advanced topics such as algebra, equations, ratios, and geometry. I explain each concept carefully and show students how to approach mathematical problems step by step. Practice exercises are included in every lesson so learners can apply what they have learned and strengthen their understanding through repetition and guided correction.
My goal is to help students see mathematics as a subject that develops clear thinking rather than something to fear. Lessons focus on understanding why solutions work and how different methods can be used to solve problems. Over time students begin to approach mathematics with greater confidence and develop strong analytical thinking skills that support their learning in many other subjects.
