About Valerie
I have cultivated a passion for mathematics for over 11 years, holding a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics and an M.Sc in Computational Mathematics. My teaching journey has involved guiding students of all levels, helping them develop strong conceptual foundations, analytical skills, and confidence in tackling complex mathematical challenges.
My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I combine visual tools, real-world applications, stepwise explanations, and practice problems to help students internalize concepts rather than just memorize formulas. Learners are encouraged to ask questions, experiment with ideas, and develop independent reasoning skills.
Beyond the classroom, I remain engaged with mathematical research, applied modeling, and computational problem-solving. Incorporating these experiences into lessons ensures they are relevant, practical, and intellectually stimulating.
