About Kerrigan
Hello, my name is Kerrigan, and I am a dedicated and passionate Math and Biology tutor with a background in teaching, and over 15 years teaching and tutor experience. I have experience working with children of different learning abilities, and I particularly enjoy helping students who may feel unsure or lack confidence in math. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every student feels capable of success.
I specialize in building strong foundational skills, especially in basic math and algebra. I believe that once a student truly understands the basics, everything else becomes much easier. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and adapted to each individual learner’s needs. I take the time to explain concepts clearly, using simple language, visual aids, and step-by-step guidance.

About My Lessons
I offer personalized, supportive math lessons designed to help students build strong foundations and real confidence. My teaching style focuses on simplifying concepts, using visual aids, and making math feel fun, approachable and nothing to be afraid of.
What makes my approach unique is that I don’t just teach students what to do — I help them understand why they are doing it. I adapt each lesson to suit the individual learner, whether they need extra support, more practice, or a confidence boost. I am patient, encouraging, and especially skilled at working with students who feel overwhelmed or anxious about math.
