About Alexia
I am currently an undergraduate student in Computer Science at the University of Oxford. Before this, I did my A-Levels in Maths and Further Maths at King's Maths School, while tutoring younger students at GCSE level Mathematics. During this time, I also participated in maths competitions such as the UKMT Senior Kangaroo and British Maths Olympiad, so I have more than enough experience to help you prepare for any sort of Mathematics related exam.

My tutoring style consists of allowing my students to take time to think and try their best to come up with a solution as much as possible on their own, with some helpful hints from me if required. From my experience as both a student being taught in this way and as a tutor, this helps our brains make more meaningful connections and retain information best, especially for mathematics.
A typical lesson would start by going through the homework set previously, then reviewing together the new content we will cover that lesson. Following this, we'd go through as many exam-style questions as possible to reinforce exam technique while also getting the student to understand all of the possible things they could be asked to do in their exams.
