I specialize in teaching younger students (grades kindergarten to 4) because of my visual-based methodology. This method makes it easier for younger brains to picture and grasp a concept rather than only speaking. A typical one-hour lesson plan includes:
-Quiz at the start of the lesson to get an idea of what the student already knows
-Going through the quiz for corrections and answering any questions the student may have
-Lesson
-Mini-quiz to see how effective the lesson was in teaching student
-Break (optional)
-Correction of Mini-quiz
-Worksheets (worksheets that were not completed will be assigned for homework)
