About Matthew
I am currently a 3rd year Mathematics student at the University of Stirling. During my time at university I have covered a wide range of mathematical topics and have been taught by many different lecturers so I understand that different teaching techniques work for different students.
I have worked with three different students over an age range of 13-16. This included tutoring at GCSE level. I worked with all three for over six months and received very positive reviews from my time with them.

I like to work with a whiteboard and different coloured pens so that work can be easily rubbed out and the different colours can be used to help the student understand different parts. I also like to work through test papers and real questions so the student knows what to expect when it comes to exams. I am very open to working with the student and find out how they learn most effectively and will adapt my teaching to suit them.
