About Charlotte
Hi, my name is Charlotte and I'm a maths student at the University of Manchester. I've always enjoyed STEM subjects and love to help others find out how great they can be, whilst helping them wrap their heads around the tricky bits! I know from experience that exams can be really stressful for students and that feeling prepared can be a game changer for getting through exam periods, so I'd love the opportunity to help students feel more confident in their subjects and help them find the revision techniques that work the best for them. I've tutored for a few years in different subjects, so I understand that different people learn in different ways and can adapt my lessons and teaching style to suit my pupil. I've also tutored at different levels, so whether they're trying to boost their grade to pass a required subject or aiming for top marks, I'll make sure they're getting the most out of our sessions.

Maths is often a feared and disliked subject, so my main goals are always to help students feel more confident with maths and hopefully enjoy it more as well. I have lots of experience tutoring ages 11 and above, particularly GCSE and A level. I have tutored both privately and through organisations, and I have experience with 1-1 sessions, as well as lessons with small groups. Typically, lessons are 1hr in order to get the most out of them, but there is flexibility in the length as students have different capacities for concentration.
