About Adam
I am a second year mathematics student studying at the University of Edinburgh. I am involved in mathematics outreach, and before starting university volunteered as a secondary school teacher in Nepal, aswell as doing private tuition in the UK. At school I achieved all A* at GCSE level, and A* in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics A Level. I also wrote a HPQ (on quaternions and rotations) and EPQ (on the mathematics behind the works of M C Escher). I have successfully prepared students for ISEE, GCSE, add maths, A level maths and further maths exams.

I always try to explain concepts from the very beginning in order to make sure students understand how to apply the discussed ideas, then focus on exam questions that apply and polish the technique. I also help students build an intuition and fluency by drawing analogies between similar questions.
