About Julie
I am a third-year math student at the University of Pittsburgh. I also study film, and I love watching and talking about movies, and working on my own short films and sound design for others. I also love to knit and am learning to sew. I have tutored several students in elementary, middle, and high school respectively, and I spent two years as a volunteer at a K-5 after-school volunteering center.

My first priority in helping you learn math is working on whatever you are currently going over in class, either by helping with homework and assigned practice problems or by using my own resources to walk you through your current unit. From there, I like to prepare my students for upcoming units so they are prepared, as I am very familiar with the progression of a calculus course or most other math courses. I am on my third year of my math degree and have tutored for years, so I am very confident in teaching math and hope I can help you understand and even enjoy your math courses.
