About Matilda
Hi! I’m currently studying Mathematics at university. The traditional methods of teaching maths in schools often make it seem more complicated and less enjoyable than it really is. For me, maths is about logic, patterns, and problem-solving—skills that are not only useful but can also be incredibly fun to learn when approached the right way! My goal as a tutor is to help you build confidence in your abilities by simplifying concepts and showing you how maths can actually make sense.

A large part of understanding mathematics is doing lots of maths! I can provide excellent maths problems of GCSE, A-level and higher standard, alongside in depth support with answering them. I will be able to give tips and ask questions to help direct the students thought process, which will really help with their problem solving skills.
