About Edward
I am a veteran of the Army who is now attending UNC Charlotte to obtain a BSBA in Finance and a BS in Mathematics. This will be my first foray into teaching, but certainly not in tutoring - I've put in a great deal of effort with my classmates to study and work towards solutions. I am currently studying multivariable calculus and have a strong grasp on each of the lower levels of mathematics.

Growing up, I could not stand math. I realized not long ago that it wasn't the math I didn't like, but rather it was the method of instruction. Teachers are expected to provide a handful of examples and then have the students apply the steps until they've completed a large number of problems assigned to them. It wasn't until I took a more difficult class that I realized how much I enjoyed discovering concepts and linking them together. In that way, I want to show young minds the beauty of math beyond endless calculations. I want to approach concepts in a relatable way that can be built upon so that problems are accessible and eventually easy.
