About Cassie
The study of mathematics is such a valuable tool for all people, but I understand firsthand that learning math concepts can prove challenging and frustrating as a student. During my time as a Mathematics college student, I learned that an array of study methods could help me successfully complete math courses. I am happy to exercise multiple approaches to mathematics, depending on the student's personal learning style. While both practice and repetition are certainly part of the equation, I find that unlocking quality study time is the key to effective learning. I believe that math should be viewed as both an accessible and achievable tool for everyone!

With years of mathematics study experience and knowledge, I understand what it is like to be a student learning difficult concepts. As a tutor, I will oversee:
-Summarization of key lessons and concepts from course
-New examples on difficult topics
-Review of missed practice problems
-Practice and memorization of solving methods
-Regular check-in on understanding of foundational concepts
I plan to meet with students as often as needed for instruction and learning, with lessons aimed at high school and introductory college courses. In the past, I have tutored in Geometry, Algebra I/II, Precalculus, and Calculus.
