About Thomas
I studied mathematics at university and loved every minute of it because I'm a proper nerd! I also briefly studied physics at the University of Manchester where Professor Brian Cox was my lecturer (yes, that Brian Cox). I now teach full-time across specialisms including data analysis, data engineering, software testing, software development, business analysis, and project management. As a life-long learner, I believe in investing time in your education and enjoying the journey. As such, I like to collaborate with other education leaders to ensure best practices and effective teaching methods. Having trained hundreds of students, I understand that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach and can tailor learning styles to best fit my student's needs.

I am an extroverted nerd, so like to properly engage with my students and keep things fun. I think the best way to learn is to grasp the fundamentals and then get practising! I'll always tailor my lessons to your level and goals. We'll likely start off establishing objectives, then working towards those goals through lectures, exercises, problem-solving, and feedback. I train full time for a corporate technology consultancy, but also have years of experience tutoring in maths and science up to A-level standard.
