About Giulia
I've started as a private tutor for school students 8 years ago and never stopped. I love helping them to improve and get interested in what they study. Currently, I am attending a master degree course in mathematics, with a specific program focused on the Art of Teaching and the History of Mathematics. I'm from Italy, where I gave many hours of mathematics lectures to a number of different classes (14-17 years old students) under the supervision of an experienced mathematics high school professor.
I'm currently living in Ithaca (NY), where I'm studying to improve my English.

At first I try to undestand by means of specific questions what are the difficulties the student is finding.
I think it is important to design together the best approach to the study.

Giulia is a methodic and experienced private tutor for students who need to overcome difficulties in Maths. She is not only very good in her subject matter, but has outstanding pedagogical skills. No surprise she is studying to become a qualified high school math teacher. I fully recommend her.
She has a genuine passion for mathematics, and when a teacher is as engaged with the content she teaches as Giulia does, then the lessons are always exciting and fun!
