About Simon
I have tutored for the past two years, generally to undergraduates but I'm looking to move into A-level tuition.
All undergraduates I have tutored have gone on to achieve 2.1s or 1sts in their exams.
I have a very good grasp of the A-level courses, having obtained 99% in Maths and 97% in Further Maths in my own A-levels.

I split my lessons into two parts: understanding and knowledge.
For the first half, I'll offer insights from my university experiences as to WHY some mathematical concepts are as they are, to give you more intuition on the subject material.
The second half will be about consolidating knowledge. This, I believe, is best served by a practice makes perfect approach. We will go through a lot of questions together, until answering a question becomes instinctive, and I will show you tricks to help you answer each question. I will also provide you with 'cheat sheets' that you can refer to during your revision.
As exams draw closer, focus will shift more onto answering questions and away from gaining intuitions on the theory.
