About Oliver
Hello, I am Oliver Scarsbrook, I am 21 years old and have just finished studying maths at the University of Bath. I am looking to become a secondary school maths teacher, as I am passionate about teaching and believe it is vital and meaningful work. Other than maths I enjoy football, guitar, piano and art.

As a recent Maths Graduate, preparing to do a PGCE next year and pursuing teaching as a career, I have lots of experience in studying maths, as well as some in teaching it. For the last 8 months I have tutored three Year 10 students at GCSE level with the charity Action Tutoring. As part of my university course I completed a "Communicating Mathematics" unit which involved conducting a maths RI masterclass session for around 100 Year 8 students. I also have experience working with children as a volunteer on several summer camps. I offer interactive and tailored tutoring to anyone from Year 5 - Year 11. 1 hour sessions (however I am flexible with lesson length).
