About Kayla
My passion for mathematics grew from an appreciation for logical structure and precise reasoning. This led me to earn a B.Sc in Quantitative Mathematics, where I explored both theoretical concepts and applied analysis. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped students develop confidence through clear explanation and steady support. I approach teaching with patience and adaptability, focusing on identifying gaps in understanding and rebuilding foundations carefully. I believe confidence grows naturally when students truly understand concepts rather than memorize steps. Beyond teaching, I continue engaging with mathematics through applied problem exploration and independent study. Teaching mathematics is meaningful to me because I see students overcome self-doubt and realize their capacity to reason and succeed through understanding.

Mathematics becomes clearer when learners understand the structure behind numbers and formulas. Intermediate students strengthen algebraic manipulation, graph analysis, and word problem strategies. Advanced learners refine calculus techniques, proof-based reasoning, and exam accuracy.
