About Nicholas
I'm Nicholas Feigelson, a diligent Mathematics and Computer Science student at Washington University in St. Louis, currently holding a GPA of 3.87/4.0. I have a profound understanding of math and a natural ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. My academic journey so far has honed my problem-solving skills, and my ability to strategize and work collaboratively.
Beyond academia, I have a proven track record of leadership and mentorship. During my time at York Preparatory High School, I was not only the valedictorian but also served as the Team Captain of the Varsity Volleyball team and Vice President of the Student Body. I believe these experiences have shaped my ability to guide and inspire others effectively.
Moreover, my volunteering work at the Friendship Circle has granted me the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. This experience has made me adept at creating an inclusive environment that encourages learning at one's own pace while promoting social connections and personal growth.
I'm also set to begin a selective role as a Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) Leader at my university, which will further enhance my teaching abilities. My goal as a tutor is not only to help you excel in math but also to help you enjoy the process of learning. I understand the unique challenges each student faces, and I am committed to adapting my approach to meet your individual learning needs.
With my skills, experiences, and commitment to helping others succeed, I am confident in my ability to provide a productive and enjoyable learning experience for my students. Let's embark on your mathematical journey together!

As a Mathematics and Computer Science student at Washington University in St. Louis, I have a strong foundation in math and an earnest enthusiasm to share this knowledge with others. My approach to tutoring focuses on simplifying complex concepts, making them more approachable and enjoyable for my students.
My teaching method involves ensuring that each session is tailored to fit the student's unique learning style. We focus on problem-solving and critical thinking. A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previously covered material to ensure retention and understanding. We then move on to new concepts, using interactive examples and practice problems to facilitate comprehension. We wrap up with a summary of the lesson and an open Q&A session to clarify any lingering doubts.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my commitment to the success of my students and my adaptability. I understand that each student learns differently, and I aim to customize my teaching style to suit individual needs. My volunteering experience with the Friendship Circle, where I mentored children with special needs, has equipped me with the skills to communicate effectively with students of all backgrounds and learning abilities.
These lessons are designed for any students who wish to improve their math skills. Whether you are preparing for a test, catching up on missed classes, or simply love math and want to learn more, I'm here to guide you toward achieving your goals. Remember, learning is a journey, and every step brings you closer to your goal. I look forward to being a part of this journey with you!
