About Liv
I want to teach mathematics and chemistry to show students that it often is not as hard as it seems. Students might miss just one lesson and feel they know nothing - so my aim is to explain concepts in simple ways and to provide students with a proper understanding so they don't rely on memorisation to get them through. Moreover, I can quickly catch students up if they feel behind in their course.

My approach to teaching maths and chemistry is focused on both content and application. As a former student I was often frustrated by teachers expecting students to simply know when to apply the content they were teaching in an exam context. Lessons would be an hour-long but can easily be adjusted to a student's needs. I can tutor any year level of mathematics or chemistry from K-10, but then specialise in the IB courses. I can also edit and provide extensive feedback on the Internal Assessment component of the IB courses.
