About Cassandra
I am a student at a four year university, with a love for all academic subjects as well as the arts. While I have primary taught dance for ten plus years, I tutored all throughout my high school experience and loved every minute of it. I love interacting and spreading the love of knowledge with children of all ages.

My philosophy is engagement, engagement, engagement. In order to truly learn and hold information beyond memorization, engagement is necessary. Working with the material in concrete ways, taking the knowledge into real life examples and seeing how the information plays out in the real world allows the lesson to not only be more interesting but also, make more sense. I believe group work is the most effective. While individual work is necessary to maintain accurate assessments of where each student lies in understanding, group work allows the student more insight into what they may not have full grasp on.
