About Louis
I graduated with First Class Honors (1:1) in Mathematical Sciences from TU Dublin and am now pursuing a Master's degree in Mathematical Physics at Maynooth University. I have always been passionate about mathematics and physics from a young age, and my background spans topics such as Statistics, Calculus, Probability, Geometry, Trigonometry, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I believe that being good at math means being good at problem-solving. I'm driven to help students strengthen their problem-solving skills, which in turn boosts their mathematical confidence. I aim to support both Leaving Cert students and undergraduate students who are struggling with math.

I believe being good at Maths is all about being good at problem-solving. My tutoring focuses on helping students understand concepts by working through examples together, rather than just listening to lectures. I aim to build confidence, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop their own problem-solving skills. No question is ever a silly one, and every mistake is a chance to learn and improve.
All lessons are online, so students can learn comfortably from home with flexible scheduling. I use OneNote to write and share solutions in real time while sharing my screen on MS Teams, but I’m happy to use other platforms, like Zoom, if preferred.
