About Isha
I am Isha Verma, a university student at Simon Fraser University studying Economics with a strong background in Mathematics. My academic journey has helped me develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain problems in a clear and simple way.
I believe that every student has the ability to succeed in mathematics with the right guidance and support. My teaching style focuses on building strong fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, and creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions.
I am a patient and dedicated tutor who understands that every student learns differently. I take the time to identify each student’s strengths and challenges and customize my lessons according to their needs, whether they need help with homework, exam preparation, or improving their overall understanding of mathematics.
Through my experience as a university student, I have developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills that I bring into every lesson. My goal is to make mathematics less stressful and help students develop confidence that goes beyond the classroom.

Hi! I’m Isha, an Economics and Mathematics student at Simon Fraser University with a strong foundation in Mathematics. I believe that every student can learn math when concepts are explained in a way that matches their learning style.
My goal as a tutor is to make mathematics less intimidating and more interesting by breaking down complex problems into simple, understandable steps. I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students gain the confidence to approach math independently.
I offer online lessons for elementary and high school students in areas such as algebra, functions, calculus basics, statistics, and exam preparation. Whether you need support with homework, want to improve your grades, or want to strengthen your understanding of concepts, I will create lessons based on your individual needs.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I don’t just focus on finding the right answer—I help students understand the “why” behind every step so they can become better problem solvers.
