About Cindy
I was born and raised in Seville, and I studied at a bilingual and international school from which I graduated June 2024. I am a 40+ IB student. This September I will begin the course of MBBCh Medicine at the University of Manchester. Since I was little, I have been interested not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities. Some of my hobbies are ballet, volunteering with the Red Cross and conducting medical research. I hope to inspire confidence and motivation in your children. My parents are originally from China, but they were also born here, so we blend customs from both cultures. Related to this, I speak four languages: Spanish is my native language; I have native-level English with a C2 certification and an A grade (the highest possible); I obtained a B2 in French in 2022 (and I’m currently studying to take the C2 in January 2025); and Chinese is my other native language.

I have experience teaching all kinds of children and ages, ranging from 2nd grade of primary school up to 2nd year of high school :). As a tutor, I use a mix of different learning methods — vicarious, visual, kinesthetic, associative, and experiential — which are much more effective than just memorizing. I have 3 years of teaching experience, and all the students I’ve worked with were at risk of repeating the year. However, after my intensive summer classes, every one of them managed to pass their makeup exams and move on to the next grade. A typical lesson would start with reviewing the work done in the previous class, where we reflect on the mistakes made and suggest ways to improve and correct them. Then, we’d work together to understand the theory, and after that, we’d focus on new exercises that I would have prepared in advance.
