About Trevor
I did a Bachelors Economics and Philosophy at the University of Alberta and a Masters in Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics. I taught high school for two years after graduating and worked as a tutor for five years before that. I also have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and taught that for two years.

I tutor primarily by working through examples related to the concepts my students explore in their coursework and identifying the component concept that is missing. Often, I find students are more successful when we can identify a real-world situation with the same rules as the problem they are working on. I believe that curiosity, clear communication, and gentleness are the two most important virtues in a tutor, and strive to embody them in my practice.
