About Umid
I graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics and am currently a graduate student at UIUC pursuing a Master's in Computer Science.
As the son of a physics professor, my journey into mathematics began early, driven by a lifelong fascination with its elegance and purity. This passion inspired me to start tutoring at age 17, helping peers master challenging concepts.
I genuinely enjoy connecting with students, breaking down complex topics into plain English, and helping others realize their full potential. I am always responsive and happy to answer questions or schedule an introductory session.
