About Joseph
Hi, my name is Joseph, and I am currently a university student studying a double degree of genetics and advanced computing at ANU. I am a friendly and kind person who always seeks to put the needs of others in front of my own. I am patient, helpful and am committed to assisting those in need. I am also hard working, as I always strive for excellence. I get on well with others and enjoy getting to know people. I have two younger siblings who I have frequently tutored, and I know how to make them focus when necessary, but I also can have fun and make them enjoy being tutored. I believe that this gives me a good foundation to give students from year 5-10 a great learning environment.

I approach tutoring with a ground-up approach - I will not move on until the basic concepts have been mastered. I have previously tutored math to students ranging from year 4 to year 8, and all of them have improved significantly. My lessons are 1 hour sessions where I will maximise time spent answering questions while still taking short breaks to maximise focus.
