About Mateo
I am a current college student majoring in biomedical engineering and I have been a math tutor for the last 5 years. I have done tutoring for elementary schools, middle schools and high schools along with private tutoring working with students from grades K to 12.

My teaching method is I look at the material a student has been working with to understand how they are learning in school and I focus on the weaker math skills of the student through lessons and worksheets, working together and step by step with the students until they are confident with the concepts and understand them. I finish every few tutoring sessions with a review sheet containing everything that the student and I have worked on.
