About Jorge
I'm a math graduate with a a minor in Physics and a background in mechanical engineering that has been tutoring different levels of Math and Science for more than 25 years and actually working as a math teacher at High School level for about 10 years. In addition, I enjoy computer programming with a starting class of AP Computer Science Principles (Python) in the 2020-2021 school year. Extremely knowledgeable in all levels of Math and Physics.

My teaching method is by showing students step-by-step all the process for solving a math problem to make easy and accesible to review, in case students do not arrive to the correct answer. In addition, my teaching skills make sense when I relate the learning topic with a real-life situation, so, the students can easily understand why they need to learn a specific skill. Finally, I reinforce the learning topic by using project based learning (PBL) assigned to students.
