About Bruce
I majored in mathematics and received an honorary key. I became a doctor and integrated mathematics in my career. I retired prematurely for health reasons, and went to my first love "math". I have taken numerous courses and have tutored for over 11 years. In the last two years I have tutored/taught public school in the Tidewater area. I try to make math "painless".I will go at your pace and I will be your cheerleader. I am never critical and only praise, No question is foolish.

I feel that we all learn differently. Many students do well if they can visualize the problem. Consequently, I often use a computer, and I have numerous worksheets.I go at your pace and encourage questions.There are several ways to solve a problem. If you do not understand a certain way, I try another approach. No question is foolish. I encourage my students to ask questions. The only foolish question is one not asked .
