About Jalen
I graduated college in 2021 and ever since I have been teaching at a middle school in my hometown area. I just recently switched over to teaching math as I have passed all the requirements to teach. I gained the passion to teach math from growing up with my mom being a math teacher for many years. I was very bright in my math courses I took during my secondary schooling, I was able to study math all the way to Calculus II. I also have plenty of tutoring experience as I tutored while I was in college and have been tutoring recently at my current school that I am teaching at.

My technique for teaching middle school students who need a little extra push is to relate the content to something that they are familiar with and teaching it to them in a way they can remember it. One thing I believe is all students can learn they just need to find their way to learn.
