About Maristela
I am a chemical engineer graduated 6 years ago by UFPR and I taught in Curitiba during college for a year as a private teacher. I was also a volunteer chemistry teacher in a charity pre-college course at the same time. I have been in São Paulo for 5 years as an engineer and I want to resume classes to continue developing teaching skills. :) I am currently in a post graduate program in USP and plan to be an University teacher in the future.

My main characteristic is to find analogies among the topic and interests of the student. This helps their understanding and actual learning, because relating new things to familiar concepts helps humans learn! Understanding and caring about one's learning process is also characteristic of my lessons. It is very good when, through my classes, the student demonstrates having acquired knowledge that before seemed so complex to them.
