The key to effective math tutoring? Well, it's all about helping each student truly grasp the concepts, not just memorize formulas. I start by getting to know how each student learns best, and then I customize my teaching approach for them. We break down those tricky math problems into manageable steps, and I'm always here to answer questions and have discussions. Plus, I like to show how math applies in the real world to make it relatable and interesting. Most importantly, I create a super supportive environment where mistakes are totally okay.
Usually, I request students and parents to give me a heads-up about the topic we'll be tackling, allowing me to prepare various materials in advance of the lesson.
