About Aliza
I am a University of Alberta Finance student who is passionate about helping students excel in math. With experience studying both the Canadian curriculum and the Cambridge curriculum, I bring a strong and well-rounded understanding of mathematical foundations. Students can choose flexible lesson times throughout the week, and I tailor each session to match their individual learning needs. We move at a comfortable, supportive pace, ensuring concepts are truly understood and confidence grows over time.

I focus on helping students truly understand math concepts rather than just memorizing steps. My approach ensures students can confidently apply their knowledge to different types of problems without getting stuck. I begin by explaining each topic clearly, followed by a guided example, and then provide a variety of targeted practice questions. This hands-on practice helps students build strong foundations and truly understand how and why math works. I have studied both the Canadian curriculum and the Cambridge O-Level curriculum, giving me a broad and solid background in math education. I am able to teach Grades 1–9, helping students build a strong base so they enter high school confident, prepared, and ready for success.
