About Laci
I'm a 26-year-old Florida native, proud new mom, and passionate educator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. My journey has taken me from the sunshine state to the bustling streets of New York City—and back again—shaping who I am as a teacher and creative. While living in NYC, I spent two years working with at-risk youth, helping students overcome academic challenges and discover their potential. That experience taught me patience, adaptability, and the power of meeting students exactly where they are. I learned that every learner is capable of success when given the right support and encouragement. My background in graphic design fuels my creative approach to teaching. I bring visual thinking and real-world application into my lessons, making even the toughest subjects more engaging and accessible. Whether we're solving equations, writing essays, or designing digital art, I strive to make learning feel relevant and rewarding. As a new mom, I understand the value of time, flexibility, and balance. I'm committed to creating a supportive, judgment-free space where students of all ages can grow at their own pace.
