About Estela
I have tutored six different types of math, up to Calculus 1, at a college level for about 2 years now. I have learned different methods of working the same problem, so we can work the problem the way that makes most sense to the student. I am currently a math major and will receive my Bachelors degree in mathematics Fall of 2023. I have also done mathematical research and will be presenting my work in the future at conferences.

I usually work an example with students and give them a general idea of how to do certain types of problems. I am also willing to walk students through problems if the problem is too complex and make sure they understand what I'm doing before moving forward. To confirm the students understand how to do the problem in the future, I will sometimes ask them to walk me through a similar problem and correct them if needed.
