I am a university student, my majors being Math and Science. I have been tutoring since high school and I am willing to help the most 'slow' student. In my opinion no student is slow, it is all how the information is presented to you and being exposed often enough.

I like to prepare lessons. Therefore, I prefer if my students tell me what topic they are struggling with and give as much detail as possible. I then set up a lesson where I approach the problems they are struggling with (they follow along). I describe what I am doing and even explain the smallest details. Afterwards I let them attempt an easy problem - medium and last a we attempt a 'difficult' problem together.
I give out notes especially for students who are preparing for a test.
