About Andrew
I am a young adult who has always excelled in mathematics/sciences and continues to apply algebra/geometry/arithmetic/physics/biology in my day to day work life as an organic farmer and entrepreneur. I have completed 3/4 of my associates degree in business at Northern Essex Community College in MA, as well as college courses in human biology, psychology, and a semesters’ worth of environmental science related courses at Plymouth state University. My interests include snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, and playing guitar. In the winter I work at the rental shop at Mount Ashland, assisting locals and tourists in having memorable times on the slopes

My teaching approach is based on the students needs and my empathetic nature. I am able to address the student with kindness and respect, without shame or guilt for not understanding the subject matter. I offer patience and a multitude of different learning style approaches, in part due to my personal experience growing up as an under stimulated-highly intelligent student who was falsely diagnosed with ADD. These experiences shaped me into a teacher who is unwilling to give up after the first few failures. I was in my young teen years at a time when teachers were experimenting with different learning styles(2007-2012), and I learned, along with my teachers at the time, that certain styles work for certain students. Whether they are visual, hands on, or any other amalgamation of sensory learning, I am willing to work with all styles and can morph my approach based on need
