About Isabelle
Having always had a passion for the sciences, I believe I can share some of this understanding and enjoyment onto my students. Being an Ontario Certified Teacher I have all of the proper qualifications to be an effective teacher.
I sympathize with many learners who struggle with topics and concepts as it is not always easy. Sometimes all it takes is to look at things a different way or revisit old topics that may be a prerequisite or be provided with different examples to grasp the concepts. We are in this together!

My ability to connect with my students is crucial in encouraging the student to feel safe and comfortable with asking questions and bringing up topics that may need to be further discussed. This is crucial in the learning process. My typical lessons start with the opportunity to ask questions from the previous lesson so that we can move forward in confidence. I like to have short intro questions or activities to recap on the previous lessons teaching or sometimes a question that is an intro to the topic we would be discussing that day.
My lessons are mostly geared towards grade school and high school level mathematics and chemistry classes. However, I am open to teaching 1st or 2nd year undergraduate math classes.
