About Aimee
I grew up in Queenstown and have always been a book lover, which is where my interest in English and communication began. I enjoy being creative in many ways, from reading and writing to sewing in my free time. At university, I combined this creativity with leadership by founding the University of Otago’s first ever Women in Business Club. Since our launch in March, we’ve grown to over 270 members and host regular events to connect and inspire young women in business. I now hold a degree in Marketing and am completing my Master’s with a thesis. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked with children of all ages, teenagers, and adults, which has given me a wide range of experience in adapting to different learning styles. I’m passionate about creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the learning process.

My Tutoring Approach I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, whether that is English writing, exam preparation, or confident speaking. For speech coaching, I draw on my experience winning school competitions to teach structure, delivery, and confidence. Method and Lessons I use clear explanations, interactive practice, and constructive feedback. Lessons typically run 45 to 60 minutes, adjusted to suit age and goals. Experience I have a degree in Marketing and am currently completing my Master’s in Marketing with a thesis. I also have extensive experience working with children of all ages, as well as teaching and coaching teenagers and adults. Who It Is For Open to all ages and levels, including school support, university studies, adult learners, and anyone wanting to improve writing, speaking, or presentation skills.
