About Charlie
I am a postgraduate student at the University of Nottingham, currently studying Finance and Investment MSc. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds, where I studied Mathematics and Economics BSc. After so many years in education, I know the best methods to gain and retain a strong understanding of these subjects and what to tackle exam questions.

I will teach at a pace which is comfortable for the student and set homeworks to check progress. Able to teach core maths, mechanics and statistics across multiple exam boards in addition to micro and macro economics up to degree level. I understand that these are topics which students can often find frustrating, and have based my teaching style around building up students’ knowledge whilst ensuring that they build confidence in their own abilities. Prior to receiving tutoring during my A-levels, I never thought it would be possible for me to study Maths at university however, I had an amazing tutor who taught me the skills I needed and boosted my confidence and I would like to do the same for my students.
