I am currently an intern with GE Aviation and a MSc Software Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I've completed my BSc in Aerospace Engineering with an addition Minor in Applied Mathematics. I've tutored up to and including GCSE Math/Science subjects as well as university-level Engineering students in the past and find the experience extremely rewarding as well as beneficial to the students.
I believe in identifying and understanding students' specific strengths and weaknesses first in order to adapt an effective lesson structure. Everyone processes information in different ways, from lists of formulae to spider-diagrams and graphs; it is important to always be aware of this when teaching and I aim to make each lesson specific to the students. As well as this, I always encourage feedback from students so that I can change my technique or improve in areas that will be the most beneficial for the learning and development of the student.
