About Tanja
Hello and welcome! My name is Tanja, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with you one-on-one. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about my background. I was born and raised in Bremen, Germany, where I spent the first 30 years of my life. My studies in German and Sports led me to earn a Master’s degree in Education and teaching credentials for grades 1 through 10. I began my teaching career in Germany, where I taught German, English, French, and Sports, and also enjoyed tutoring students all ages and levels individually to help them achieve their goals. A few years ago, I moved to the US, where I continued my passion for teaching by working as a 4th-grade teacher in a private school. In that role, I taught bilingual German-English subjects and gained valuable experience in helping students thrive in a one-on-one setting. With over 10 years of experience, I have taught learners from complete beginners to those preparing for the B1 German exam, as well as providing Business German. In addition, my background in the relocation and global mobility field has allowed me to combine language learning with cultural training, helping students feel confident and prepared for real-world communication. I am excited to bring this experience to our tutoring sessions.
