About Alex
I am a confident and competent Engineering graduate who can provide maths, chemistry and physics tutoring and has been doing so for over 8 years. I can also provide tutoring for extended project qualifications (EPQ) and assist in proofreading and assisting in essay writing and exam technique. It varies depending on the person. There's no point in having a set teaching method when every student is different. I like to use sample questions to test my students on topics we have covered or topics they have already stated they are confident in. When we look at new and or areas they find harder, I like to look at the core of the topic and work outward, attempting to give my students full understanding of the topic area.
