About Dalton
I have a Bachelor’s in mathematics from Lubbock Christian University, and a Master’s in mathematics from Texas Tech University. I have been tutoring math to friends and family since I was a young child. I taught all high school Maths and Sciences at Premier High School in Lubbock for three years, and left there to pursue a Master’s in Mathematics. My approach is simple, ask questions and watch the student try a problem to gauge their understanding, and attempt to fill in gaps in instruction. Then, once they have seen all the relevant data and strategies pertinent to the problem, I ask pointed questions to draw out the method and answer from the student. This approach requires a student to care about their education to some degree because they must expend some amount of effort in getting the concept and answer. This not only helps the student to learn to take charge of their education, but gives them some degree of confidence since it is really their ability that leads them to the solution.

Dalton has helped me understand math in ways that makes sense and helps me get through the class for the rest of the year. It has boosted my confidence. I would recommend him to anyone that needs math help.
Extremely patient and willing to explain things several different ways. He helped my daughter with math and physics at the same time. Highly recommend.
He explained everything in detail and in ways that I was able to understand. When something didn’t make sense, he would reword it and break it down in a way I could grasp the concept.
Dalton is my older brother and is very brilliant and extremely capable of teaching and explains math in many different ways. This means whatever your learning style is I have full confidence that dalton will be able to explain and help you understand. He has tutored me in many math courses.
