About Tristan
I am person that has acquired a wide array of skills, and love to be able to pass on that knowledge onto others. After teaching and tutoring after undergrad, I continued on with my education into graduate school. I even broke out of my comfort zone and learned extracurricular activities, such as different forms of dancing, and taught that to others for years. I would always tell my students, "If I can do it, any of you can do it too!"

I have a knack for explaining more complicated subjects in more relatable terms and concepts. If people are able to understand it more on their own terms, it will be much easier to traverse themselves by not seeming as intimidating.
I will typically start with a brief overview of what portion the class is currently going over, followed by walking the students through solving some practice problems on their own. It's always better to lead someone through breaking down the solution and figuring out themselves rather than just showing the correct way from start to finish and expecting them to understand how you got there.
I have tutored at both the high school and college levels, with the latter being where I am most comfortable.
