About Shaughn
I graduated with a master from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich where I studied Biology prior to that I studied Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology at Whitman College in the US. I worked in a lab doing science outreach teaching the public about biology and enjoyed getting to share my passion for science with others.

I find it very useful to prepare visual models and analogies. Much of science involves things in our world that cant be percieved and we lack an intuition for understanding them. I think students struggling to understand concepts can be helped a great finding ways to imagine these processes analogs to what they see in their day to day lives. Generally, I believe in patience asking questions and moving at whatever pace is best for your students.
