About Charan
I am a masters in electrical engineering student at Columbia University, and received my bachelors with a double major in neuroscience and electrical and computer engineering at Rice University. I enjoy teaching both engineering and science concepts. I also have experience teaching SAT/ACT prep as well, with a perfect ACT score (36 in all subsections) and a 1590 SAT with 800s in two subject tests (Math 2 and Physics).

I have over 6 years of experience teaching mini-classes and tutoring. I've taught middle and high schoolers as well as undergraduates with great results, improving standardized test scores, grades in classes, and ensuring a thorough understanding of the topic. Lessons will be very involved, and as always questions and curiosity are always encouraged.

Charan is a great teacher and clearly cares a ton about making sure I'm really understanding the topic! He's always prepared and doesn't watch the clock like a lot of other tutors, his main concern is that I learn as much as possible and feel confident with the material. Would highly recommend him to anyone who's serious about learning, his price is definitely worth it!
