About Victoria
Hello! My name is Victoria, and teaching has been my passion and profession for nearly a decade. I spent seven rewarding years as a public school teacher, working with diverse groups of students and refining my ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and needs. For the past two years, I’ve been homeschooling, which has given me a deeper understanding of individualized education and the joy of seeing students thrive in a personalized learning environment. I love teaching because it allows me to inspire confidence in students and show them what they’re capable of achieving. Whether it’s helping a student grasp a challenging concept or encouraging them to see their unique strengths, my goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning space where they feel empowered to succeed. Professionalism and dedication are at the heart of everything I do. With my years of experience in both traditional and homeschool settings, I bring structure, creativity, and a tailored approach to each lesson. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals while fostering a love for learning along the way. Let’s embark on this journey together!

My Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching method revolves around tailoring lessons to meet individual student needs. I adopt a student-centered approach, combining active learning, scaffolding, and clear objectives. I use a variety of teaching techniques, such as visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-life examples, to ensure concepts are relatable and engaging. For students with specific needs, like children with autism, I incorporate ABA strategies such as positive reinforcement and task analysis to foster understanding and maintain engagement.
I believe in fostering a growth mindset by celebrating small wins and encouraging resilience in the face of challenges. My ultimate goal is not only to help students master content but to teach them how to learn effectively and independently.
