About Staci
During COVID we were required to learn to use technology to teach so I learned a lot about remote teaching and remote learning! I found a multitude of options to help teach more effectively both inside the classroom and outside the classroom walls. In addition to live dialogue for deeper understanding and to answer about teacher-assigned homework or practice, your child and I work on together for trouble spots, but if need be for many lessons there are practices we can work on and videos we can look at together. While I do like remote learning, I am still a paper and pencil girl at heart, so when we can I would like to see the work that your child is struggling with to see if there is some minimal adjustment to a step or thought process to change the outcome of specific parts of problems.

Through the years I have been fortunate enough to work with so many students at so many learning levels. I have been able to use differentiated lessons created by my colleagues and/or myself and have acquired many activities and resources for multi-level learners. Students sometimes require patience and time to find that “light bulb” or “a-ha!” moment. That’s my favorite part.
