About Bethan
I recently completed a Masters Chemistry degree at the University of York, achieving a first (hons, dist). At A level I achieved 3 A*'s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. At GCSE I achieved a grade 9 in biology, chemistry, physics and maths and an A^ (A* with distinction) in further maths. I have experience tutoring with multiple GCSE specifications in biology, chemistry and maths and, through my own experiences have learnt multiple methods which have helped me (and the students I currently tutor) to achieve the maximum possible grade.

My teaching method includes going through each topic step by step, breaking it down to simplify it. I prefer one-on-one teaching as I find this allows the lesson to suit the student's specific needs. I will set optional homework of exam questions and quizzes which fit with the students' personal schedule (however if the student is unable to complete it we can go through it in the lesson instead).
